Barry Wien


Mr. Wien’s service to the community spans four decades following in the professional steps of his father Harry, grandfather Herman, and uncles Arthur and Max. 

He is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport and the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Directing. He is considered an expert in the customs of Jewish Funerals and has appeared in this capacity on both radio and television.

 He is currently a member of the Jewish Funeral Directors of America, the Workman’s Circle of NY & NJ, the New Jersey Funeral Directors Association, the Masonic Lodge, the Knights of Pythias, the Hampton Synagogue and the Jewish Center of the Hamptons.

 Mr. Wien serves over 40 cemetery associations as the executive director of their burial grounds. These cemetery associations have burial grounds in Cedar Park, Beth El, Mt. Moriah, Arlington Jewish, Beth Israel Memorial Park, Beth David, Mt. Hebron, King Solomon, Baron Hirsch, Wellwood, United Hebrew and New Montifiore Cemeteries. Barry will maintain the records for these associations at Eden Memorial Chapels,where he can be reached 24 hours a day 7 days a week.   . Frank Patti


Mr. Patti was selected for his years of service to Fort Lee, and for his dedication to the Jewish Community in answering the need for a local, family owned, Jewish funeral Home.  Rabbi Neil N. Winkler in a live transmission from Jerusalem said of Mr. Patti, “he shows concern for others’ each & everyday. Frank Patti’s establishment (Eden) is an institution where proper Jewish funerals can be held, the only Jewish funeral home in all of Teaneck, Englewood and Fort Lee, was a major contribution to the strength and viability of the Jewish Community.”

Mr. Patti related that he was approached in the early 90’s to include a Tahara room and shomer facilities in the new addition he was planning for his funeral home.  With the inclusions of the facilities he was approved to serve the Jewish community.  Bernard Raab stated, “he provides a vital service that was not previously available here in Fort Lee.  He brings us one step closer to our goal of a community that serves the Jews of Fort Lee in all of our needs.”

In his address, Mr. Patti thanked congregation young Israel for honoring him and for the privilege of allowing he and his firm to serve the community.



Arthur Musicant

FORT LEE, NJ, Eden Memorial Chapels, Inc. is proud to announce that Arthur Musicant has joined their funeral staff.

Mr. Musicant, who was born in Passaic, was a long time resident of Teaneck and a graduate of Teaneck High school’s class of 1956. He further pursued his education by Graduating the American Academy of McAllister Mortuary School in 1958.

He joined his family’s firm Musicant’s Memorial Chapel with his father and was responsible for the operations of the business and service to his families. His service to the Jewish Community spans over 50 years.

Arthur married Liz Petlack in 1959 and they have two sons Marc and Jon Musicant. His dedication to service is evident from his involvement in various service organizations including the Lions, Kiwanis, President of the Triangle Benevolent Pythian Lodge in Cranford, NJ, and 25 years of service to the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corp.

Frank Patti, senior Director of Eden Memorial Chapels stated, “what a welcome addition to our staff, Arthur’s expertise and reputation will have a direct impact on our newly established funeral service and his caring and advice will only emphasize our ability to give greater service and value to the Jewish community in their time of need.”
