After teaching for 13 years Marilyn decided to go into business for herself buying and selling

rare US stamps.

In late 1986 she began to feel the ills of Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Although she recovered and went into remission, Marilyn decided to close her business

and fully support her husband in advancing his career In Investment Banking Information Technology.

However in early 2001, the Rheumatoid Arthritis condition came back much more powerful than before.
