Obituary of David Chesen

Chesen, David, age 97, of Cliffside Park, formerly of Fort Lee, on Thursday November 8, 2018.   Born in Jersey City he was an Army Veteran of World War II who served with distinction Army Amphibious Force in the Pacific Theater.  He was a member of the Jewish War Veterans and the Fort Lee VFW.  He was a member for over 50 years of the Fort Lee Jewish Community Center.  He owned and operated Various Restaurants throughout his working career.   Beloved husband of Ethel (nee: Winterfield).  Devoted father of Alan Chesen and his wife Judy and the late Jeffery Chesen.  Adored grandfather of Jonah.  Dear brother of the late Doris Rostoker.  Chapel service Sunday November 11 at Eden Memorial Chapels 327 Main Street Fort Lee, NJ  interment to follow at Beth Israel Cemetery Woodbridge.  For more information visit edenmemorial.com or call (201) 947-EDEN.
