Obituary of Seymour S. Wasserman

Wasserman, Seymour of Delray Beach Fl., a former longtime resident of Leonia died on February 7, 2019 at his home at the age of 99. Mr. Wasserman was born in Bronx, NY on July 27, 1919, son of the late Morris and Bertha Bieber Wasserman. He was a 1936 graduate of Evander Childs High School. He was predeceased by his wife Jesselyn. Mr. Wasserman was a veteran of WWII having served in Italy and North Africa. He was the owner of the Paula Embroidery Corporation in West New York, N.J., retiring in 1986. He was an active member of the Embroidery Owners Association. He was an avid golfer until the age of 89. He is survived by his three children, David (Susan) Wasserman of Barnegat NJ, Beryl Rosenstein (Jack) of Upper Gwynedd, PA and Michael (Barbara) Wasserman of Pittsfield, MA, six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mr. Wasserman was predeceased by his sisters Mildred Silverman and Esther Zeidner. Donations in his memory may be made to Trustbridge Hospice 5300 East Ave., W. Palm Beach, FL. 33407.
