Obituary of Sam Kauderer
Kauderer, Sam, age 87, of Brooklyn, passed surrounded by his family on Monday August 19, 2019. Born in Czernowitz, Romania he was a holocaust survivor. After being liberated, he was placed in a refugee camp in Cyprus until he finally made his way to Israel where he was re-united with his parents. He joined the Irgun Army, the national military organization in the land of Israel. He continued to fight for Israel's independence. He immigrated to the United States in the late 50's. An engineer by nature he was sought after for his expertise and knowledge of electrical and mechanical. The definition of a renaissance man, he was a world traveler who taught himself 7 languages and was an accomplished dancer. Truly a self-made man, he was someone who was a true fighter but also expressed a kind gentle demeanor and the importance of family. Beloved husband of Donna Victoria (nee: Mizrahi). Devoted father of Corinne, Susanne, and Eleazar Kauderer. Adored grandfather of Carl, Brian, Robert, Miles, Sam, Dean, and Reed. Dear brother Zvi and Zeev Kauaderer. Pre-deceased by his sister Esther. Graveside services Tuesday August 20th 1pm at Beth Israel Cemetery Woodbridge. For further information call (201) 947-EDEN.
