Obituary of Paula Cabot

Cabot, Paula,(Pearl) (nee:Miller), age 105, of New York, on Wednesday January 1, 2020. Beloved wife of the late George Goodman. Devoted mother of Ira Goodman. Also wife of the late Irving Cabot. She leaves behind one grandson , Geoffrey Goodman and his wife Kristen,and five great grandchildren , Ainsley , Brayden and Campbell Goodman. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Gia Goodman Thornburg , and leaves grand son in law, Damon Thornburg and great grandchildren Lucille and Harlan Thornburg She worked in her early career for Dell Publishing at Modern Screen and Photoplay Magazine. Later on, she became a legal secretary to famed criminal defense attorney Wallace Musoff. She retired at the age of 80 ,just as computers replaced electric typewriters. For the next 25 years, she enjoyed her NYC life visiting museums, going to the theatre and shopping at Bloomingdales.She also enjoyed visiting her grand children and traveling by train to Westchester. She relished living independently in her upper east side apartment , until this most recent illness. She will be missed. Chapel service Monday January 6, 2020 at 11:30 am in Mt.
