Dear Susan and Barry,
We were very sad to hear the news of the passing of Lonnie. On behalf of the Board and Management of Dah Sing Group in Hong Kong, we would like to express our deepest condolences to you and the extended family of Lonnie.
A highly accomplished banker, Lonnie had many years of extensive experience in the financial services industry and was particularly well respected for his expertise in credit and general risk management. Lonnie served us as a Board member with distinction since December 2010 until his retirement in December 2018. We were always impressed by Lonnie’s diligence and commitment as demonstrated by his thoroughness in going through the board papers. The directors also valued his intelligent and at times witty comments at board meetings. We are very grateful to Lonnie for his many contributions to Dah Sing Group. He leaves many friends in Hong Kong.
We would like to express our sympathy and let you know that our thoughts are with you in this difficult time. Lonnie was a wonderful man. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
