Obituary of Alan Richard Laffer

Laffer, Alan Richard, age 62, of Congers, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday September 22, 2020. Beloved husband to Lauren Laffer, daughter Abby Davis, Mother in law Barbara Jayson, sister Miriam Laffer, brother Robbie and wife Nancy Laffer, and many nieces & nephews and their children. Alan was a warm and friendly kind of guy. Always had a joke (or three) to tell. Which made him perfect for his chosen profession in sales. He wanted to help people. He voluntered to deliver meals to ill people, work in soup kitchens, and assist with the elderly residents where his mother-in-law lived. He loved and hated the New York Mets. He loved to watch boxing, (and would do just that to lull him to sleep at night). His friends have stuck around since 2nd grade, college, and beyond. He loved his visits with friends. He could relive the good old days over and over and laugh and laugh. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
