Dear Karen and Jonathan,
I wanted to reach out to you last week and especially over this past Memorial Day weekend. On May 26th and May 30th all I could think about was Mark's passing and his wake/funeral one year ago. It is still so hard to believe he is gone and all that has happened since we last saw all of you a few years ago at Michael and Bobbie's Memorial Day BBQ and the various summer concerts we used to attend together. We all had great times together. Those good times will always remain in our hearts and minds, bring both smiles and tears to our faces, and will never be forgotten. All of our loved ones are watching over us and are with us always. The love we have for them and their love for us never goes away. I believe we will one day be with them again. Please know that all 3 of you have been and will continue to be in my daily thoughts and prayers. If you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. It was truly a somber Memorial Day in more ways than one. Take care of yourselves and let's stay in touch. The Heavens are truly alive with the "Sounds of Music" from all of our guardian angels up above. Long live Rock and Roll. Love and Prayers, Patty Meluso

Dear Karen & Jonathan,
My deepest sympathies to you and your family. I was stunned and saddened by the news of Mark's passing. Mark was a good friend and one of my favorite people on earth. I will greatly miss him. We met back in the 90's when we worked together, and bonded right away over our shared interests in music and guitars. We made each other laugh with our similar kind of humor. We travelled to a few record shows and a concert out in Birch Hill in 2005 which we both still remembered well. He had made some very helpful modifications on my guitar and I will play it in his honor.
We had not been in touch for awhile but I was thrilled when he messaged me in 2017 on Linkedin as I was very happy to hear from him. From there we started texting and e-mailing each other and talking on the phone. We were making plans to get together once the restrictions started lifting.
I will always have very fond memories of Mark and he will always live on in my heart. He will be greatly missed. I know that Mark loved you both very much and I'm so very sorry for your loss.
Love,
Alec

Dear Karen and Jonathan,
My heart breaks for both of you at this very difficult time. You are both in my prayers and thoughts daily. I only wish I had some words that could make this time easier but unfortunately, I do not because there aren't any. The first's of the holidays are very sad and we're difficult for me but honestly, I found every day that my loved ones are not here are ALL sad days. What gets me through the days of missing my parents, John, Uncle Nicky and the rest of our family and close friends are remembering all the years we had together. I realize there were MANY great memories they left me with and I am so very lucky to have been able to have them. I remember Mark was usually the first one to like my musical references and memes I would post. I knew he thought like John and other musicians. I enjoyed our conversations about alot of different things, but we could talk about music for a long time. I remember Mark and John would REALLY go on about music alot of the times at Michael's house. John would also joke with Mark about his Vox Amp. His was full size, but I eventually surprised John with the Brian May smaller size amp, 10 watts. I told him, now leave Mark alone. LOL As though he needed another amp! Will also remember our summer concert series we would all go to. I was looking at some lists and was getting some dates together. Anyway, as much as going through the memories brings tears to our eyes, they also bring comfort, I find. Mark is around you and Johathan and he may come across through songs, feathers, pennies, cardinals, butterflies or other ways. The time we shared with our loved ones lives forever in our hearts. Love is a bond that death can never sever. Mark will continue to watch over and protect both of you. Always remember: "Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us everyday unseen, unheard, but ALWAYS near, forever loved and always missed, until we meet again.
R I.P. Mark. May God keep you and Jonathan safe and continue to watch over you both. Anything you need, please don't hesitate to call. You know how to reach me. HUGS
Love,
Michele
