Obituary of Allan I Kornblau
Allan I. Kornblau, 75, passed away at home on August 14, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Sept 12, 1946, in New York.
He was a graduate of Bronx Science High School, New York University, and Brooklyn Law School. He worked his entire career as an attorney in private practice diligently representing his clients.
He was a long-time devoted member of the Park East Synagogue and served on the Men’s Club Board.
Allan was preceded in death by his parents Saul and Sara.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Li, M.D., sister Brenda Schneider, brother-in-law Chester Schneider, stepdaughter Heidi Li and her husband, Michael Ross, and grandson Jonathan Ross.
He was an enthusiastic cyclist, often biking to Nyack on Sundays and was a regular swimmer at Asphalt Green. He enjoyed travelling with Michelle numerous times to Europe and Central America and twice with her to China. They also went to South America, especially enjoying a visit to the Galapagos Islands.
Allan had a wide circle of friends, always making new friends wherever he went due to his outgoing personality. He will be remembered for his friendship, integrity and kindness.
