Daniel Buchwald of Fort Lee, NJ formally of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Tenafly, NJ died May 29, at age 93. He is survived by his wife, Hazel, children Pamela, (Micah Abrams), Gayle, (Burt Garson), and grand children Natalie Garson, Miriam Garson, and Summer Abrams. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be truly missed.
Dan graduated City College Cum Laude and Beta Gamma Sigma, served in WW II as an Army Air Corps weather observer, and was a CPA after the war. He was a partner in Warshaw Clark and Edward Isaacs & Co. from which he retired as a Sr. Partner. While living in Tenafly, NJ Dan served on the boards of the Tenafly Schools and Temple Sinai. He also served on the finance committee of Englewood Hosp.
There will be private graveside funeral Wednesday June 1 in Farmingdale, Long Island.
Shiva will be held Wednesday evening-Friday until Shabbat at Hazel and Dan's home 1530 Palisade Ave.
