Obituary of Hannah Gertrude Coen

Coen, Hannah, passed peacefully December 6, 2016. Born January 8 1939. Devoted wife to the late Edward Coen, loving mother to Robert Coen Sr, and the late Andrea Goodman. Adoring grandmother to Kayla Goodman, Allston Ward, Jillian Coen, Robert Coen Jr. and Annie Coen. Hannah was an outgoing, generous and caring woman to all who came to know her and lived every day to the fullest. After completing her studies as a classical pianist, she co-owned Edward's Men's Clothing Store in Brooklyn, NY. After spending 15 years in Tampa, Florida, she moved back to the New York metro area to be close to her family and help raise her adoring grandchildren. Hannah loved the theatre, ballet, music and always had a kind word for acquaintances or loved ones alike. Hannah was buried on December 9, 2016 in New Montefiore Cemetery, Pinelawn, New York.
