Obituary of Earle B. Ziff

Ziff, Earle, B., age 65, of Englewood, formerly of Leonia, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, February 25, 2022. Born in Boston, Earle was a graduate of Emerson College, Class of 1979. A man of many talents, he was the host of national and local television shows, including "Those Magnificent Talkies," and the award-winning "Restaurant Row." Earle's second career was in financial services recruiting. Earle served on the Leonia Recreation Commission and was the Head Coach of the Leonia Junior Football team. Earle loved community theater and was thrilled to be cast in many shows over the years. Earle was a proud member of the Leonia Players Guild, Elmwood Playhouse, Bergen County Players, and Antrim Playhouse. He was a food lover, an avid movie buff, and a lifelong Bruins, Devils, Patriots, and Red Sox fan. Above all else, Earle loved his friends and family. Beloved husband of Beth (nee: Davis) for 40 years. Devoted father of Phillip Ziff, Alec Ziff, and his fiancée Sophie Maskin. Cherished son of Marilyn and the late Henry Ziff. Dear brother of David Ziff, Ellen Kessler, and her husband Glenn. Adored brother-in-law of Audrey Sclarow. He will be dearly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Chapel service will be held on Monday, February 28th at 11:30 AM at The Sanctuary of Abraham and Sarah (Paramus). Entombment to follow. Shiva will be observed on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 2-8 PM at The Hampton Inn and Suites Teaneck Glenpointe in The Bridge Meeting Room.
